Biography

Him Sreymom broke barriers as one of the first Cambodian women to gain widespread recognition in Kun Khmer, earning the nickname "Lady Warrior" for her fearless fighting style and willingness to take on all challengers. Growing up in rural Kampong Cham, she faced significant cultural resistance to her pursuit of martial arts but persevered with the support of her family and Kru. Her aggressive striking style and knockout power relative to her weight class made her a fan favorite on Cambodian television, and she became a role model for young girls across the country. Sreymom was selected to represent Cambodia in ONE Championship, bringing international attention to women's Kun Khmer. Her success helped change attitudes toward female fighters in Cambodian society.
